From the classic style icons like Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren and Grace Kelly to modern celebrities like Adele, Alexa Chung, Taylor Swift and Angelina Jolie, winged eyeliner has been a timeless beauty statement for decades. If you love this look as much as I do you will know that it takes a lot of patience and practise, but when you get it right it is magical, well more like a relief for me personall because I have just wiped it off at least 10 times before getting it right.
If you are like me and you are still perfecting you skills or you are a newbie and just need some guidance check out Tina Yong’s video on Perfect Winged Eyeliner Using Tape

I personally don’t use all of the same make-up products that Tina uses, however, I found that I was still able to achieve this look. I did use the surgical tape that Tina recommend and I found that this tape was by far so much better than regular cello tape. When I tried it with regular cello tape I found that it doesn’t create a straight line as the eyeliner seeps underneath it.
If you tried this technique let me know or if you have any advice to share in the comments below.
