Whats to love about a good Probiotic?

I have good reason to sing the praises of probiotics as they have made an enormous change to my life.

Probiotics are topic of conversation in the media at the moment for very good reason

Most of us do not realise just how important they are to our health and wellbeing.

Cultural practices introduced as a result of industrialisation, such as ingestion of pasteurised and synthetic compounds, supplemented foods, cleaner homes, indiscriminate use of antibiotics, have led, in recent years, to the replacement of probiotics by other organisms that are not as well adapted to the human intestinal microflora, of the human body. These new micro organisms lack many of the beneficial properties of probiotics

An up and coming area of human health research focuses on the impact of balancing the gut microbiota. Disruption of the intestinal ecosystem equilibrium has been linked to many autoimmune diseases. This brings the role of probiotics to the forefront.  Prebiotics and probiotics have been called the “next frontier” in therapeutics by health researchers ( Sharon Palmer from Today’s Dietitian)  Research has shown that probiotic cultures can enhance and regulate immune factors and promote gut barrier function and anti-inflammatory responses.  They are thought to play a part in the management of diseases such as celiac disease, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, lupus, bowel diseases, diabetes and the list goes on.

Although the research in the field of probiotics and autoimmunity is still preliminary, researchers believe that the results are such that the connection cannot be overlooked

Probiotics are more popular than they have ever been and are certainly enjoying lots of exposure at the moment

I would like to share my story

My own story attributes the change in my arthritic condition to the combination of 4 factors

  1. A change in diet. I have been eating clean for the last 3 years. This means no jars, packets, cans or anything that contains numbered ingredients. Lots of fresh and plenty of green anything!
  2. A probiotic and prebiotic combination along with natural anti inflammatory tablets daily. My goal was to kick the drugs and I have done it!
  3. I take a natural anti-inflammatory daily
  4. I also take a natural antioxidant daily

This has not been a difficult change to make. it is now very easy to find fresh fruit and vegetables from the prolific number of farmers markets available to us all at this time. We all know how much better these fruits and vegetables taste let alone how much better they are for us!

I have been taking drugs for arthritis for several years. I have had 2 knee replacements brought about by the ravages of the inflammation of arthritis.

I have been taking these chemical free products daily for 6 months now and my condition has improved to the degree that I no longer need to take the anti- inflammatory drugs on a daily basis. It can take up to 2 years for your gut to heal sufficiently to show results.

I have experienced an enormous change in just 6 months and look foreword to seeing  further improvement as time progresses.

There are lots of stories like mine.

Like me on Facebook and I will link you to a Facebook Group that has many like stories on the progress of many people who are/ were suffering from many conditions relating to many areas of the body and who are now seeing progress

This probiotic contains the probiotic bacterial strains from the Bifidobacterium and the Lactobacillus  families. These 2 probiotic families work in synergy along with the non digestible prebiotic fibres that serve to feed the probiotics. This probiotic has a total organism count of 30 billion when packed
